2017 Annual Gala
Celebrating Pro Bono Partnership’s 20th Anniversary
Pro Bono Partnership proudly celebrated at its 20th Anniversary Gala on October 12, 2017 at Cipriani 42nd Street. We were thrilled to honor Jami Wintz McKeon, Chair of the Firm, Morgan Lewis, and Merck & Co., Inc. with 2017 Champion Awards. Both are stalwart supporters of the Partnership, providing expert lawyers to advise our nonprofit clients for many years.
Dinner Chairs for the event included Ashley Watson, Senior Vice President and Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer, Merck & Co., Inc. and David G. Leitch, Global General Counsel, Bank of America. We are thankful for their enthusiastic support of the Partnership’s mission!
Additionally, 20th Anniversary Awards were presented to the Partnership’s Founders: General Electric Company, Richard Hobish, and ACC Westchester/ Southern Connecticut. The inaugural Lifetime Pro Bono Award was presented to Hon. Jonathan Lippman (Ret.), Of Counsel, Latham & Watkins, LLP. We were also privileged to have NBC News’ dynamic and insightful Senior Investigative and Legal Correspondent, Cynthia McFadden, as our host.
