Intellectual Property Basics: Everything You Need to Know about Copyright and Fair Use

People use the words “Intellectual Property”, “Copyright” and “Fair Use” frequently but oftentimes without a complete understanding of the implications of those terms.  Join us for a robust discussion of the scope and breadth of copyright protection, if and how you can properly use other people’s work and how to protect your own materials.  This workshop will also include a detailed discussion of the “Fair Use” exception that sometimes permits you to use the intellectual property of another.
