The 2019 New Jersey Social Entrepreneurship Summit will bring together leaders of the social sector and entrepreneurs who address social and environmental problems in order for them to learn from and support one another. One of the goals of the Summit is to encourage current and prospective social entrepreneurs to use innovative, sustainable, and profitable business ventures and social impact organizations as their vehicle for long-term change. Summit participants will hear from leading social entrepreneurs, impact investors, and social innovators in more than 20 sessions.
Nancy Eberhardt, Esq., Executive Director of Pro Bono Partnership, will be moderating the session Legal Issues When Deciding on a Business Structure for Social Enterprises and How NJOFBI Grantee Food Bank of South Jersey Structured a Successful Revenue-Generating Venture. Nancy will be joined by Perry Teicher, Esq., Impact Finance Attorney at Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, and Valerie Brown Traoré, Founder of Fresh Coat Painters of Burlington – Camden and former President and Chief Executive Officer of Food Bank of South Jersey.
