Rachel Lieberman, Senior Vice President and Chief Counsel, Labor, Employment & Benefits at Synchrony Financial, is one of our most dedicated and consistent volunteers, having assisted 24 PBP clients on 50 matters since she began volunteering in 2001. Pro Bono Partnership is so appreciative of Rachel’s unwavering support, especially because employment and human resources issues comprise one of the largest areas of need for our nonprofit clients. Rachel assists our client charities with everything from employee classification to HR policies to handling sensitive employee issues.
Not only has Rachel been extremely generous with her time, she also supports our mission with personal financial contributions. “When I give either time or money to Pro Bono Partnership, I know that I am maximizing my impact. It’s like ripples in a pond – pro bono services to nonprofits enable these organizations to use their resources to assist hundreds, maybe thousands, of individuals in need, multiplying my contributions to reach people I could never help on my own.”
