I’m thrilled to be writing you for the first time as Executive Director of Pro Bono Partnership! While I’m new to the position, I’m not new to the Partnership and its mission. As Director of the New Jersey program for the last 12 years, I’m intimately familiar with the difference the Partnership makes to the nonprofit community and the service we provide to the legal community.
I’m also extremely proud to be part of the amazing Partnership staff that keeps everything moving forward behind the scenes. Knowing all of the talent, expertise, and support Pro Bono Partnership has makes leading the organization into its third decade all that more exciting.
We’ve spent the last 20 years helping to empower nonprofits and improve neighborhoods in the tristate area, and making volunteering easy and accessible for our corporate and law firm attorney partners. Our commitment to that mission remains the same, and we plan to continue to raise the bar by engaging more with you, our constituents. We’ll be listening, learning, and taking cues from your feedback to help us make a great service even better. I’m looking forward to our conversations—to hearing about your successes and challenges, your thoughts on program improvements, your legal education needs, and how we can work together to ensure a strong nonprofit community and meaningful projects for our volunteers.
In the coming weeks and months you’ll hear more about our grassroots efforts to reach underserved communities and our commitment to streamline operations and optimize technology. We may even ask for your help in raising the Partnership’s profile among the legal and nonprofit communities. One opportunity to learn more about our work and the amazing work our nonprofit clients are doing, and to start these conversations, will be at our upcoming Volunteer of the Year events in April and May. Look for more information in your inbox soon, and I hope you’ll join us in White Plains, Princeton, or Hartford to celebrate our volunteers!
Thank you for continuing to support Pro Bono Partnership and our important work, we truly couldn’t do it without you. I’m looking forward to this new chapter, and to an exciting third decade ahead!
