In 2015, nearly 1,100 passionate and skilled volunteers assisted the Partnership’s nonprofit clients by creating and merging nonprofits, reviewing contracts, handling trademark and other intellectual property matters, and providing expert advice and guidance across a wide range of subject areas. The types of organizations assisted were as varied as the legal work — the organizations provided, among other things, aging and respite care resources; transformative memoir workshops and performances; as well as education, employment, and health services.

This spring we honored our Volunteers of the Year for 2015 at regional events hosted in Hartford, CT; Stamford, CT; and Parsippany, NJ. The talented and dedicated award recipients were: Peter Dagostine and Susan N. Masters, Robinson + Cole LLP; Tiffany R. Hubbard, McCarter & English, LLP; Christophe Durrer, Colgate-Palmolive Company; William Malpica, RBS; Terrence J. McAllister, Ohlandt, Greeley, Ruggiero & Perle, L.L.P; Susan L. Crane, Wyndham Worldwide Corporation; and Chris A. Johnson, FTI Consulting.

“The Partnership is proud to celebrate the contributions of these dedicated volunteers who have delivered exemplary pro bono service. By volunteering to assist our clients, their legal work has had a multiplier effect of positively impacting the communities the nonprofit clients serve,” said Executive Director Marcia Levy.
