I have really enjoyed working with the Partnership.  The staff attorneys have a great way of really getting attorneys involved in pro bono work and have provided me with a     lot of support in a field with which I had only limited experience.  They also ALWAYS say 'Thank You' which goes a very long way.  Working with the Partnership and their nonprofit clients has been a pleasure.

I want to thank the Pro Bono Partnership for giving me   the opportunity to work with Interlude, a group providing services to individuals with mental disabilities. Working with Interlude gave me a chance to use my legal skills in  a volunteer capacity. I enjoyed the experience of guiding   a not-for-profit organization through a change in its legal status. Personally, It was a rewarding experience I will treasure. Each step of the way, I found the Partnership's guidance to be helpful and supportive. You helped set    the tone for a positive working relationship with the client. Also, the model forms you supplied made my efforts easier, and your review at each stage helped to move     the project to completion.

When I decided to move on after serving as a Senior    Vice President and General Counsel of NEC, I wanted     to become more involved with pro bono projects, and I connected with some wonderful people at the Pro Bono Partnership. The Partnership made it easy for me to provide valuable pro bono assistance to nonprofit organizations by offering corporate projects very similar    to those I would have managed as general counsel.     Yes, they provide malpractice insurance. And, since I    am admitted in New York, if I supply advice for a New Jersey or Connecticut nonprofit, I work through a Partnership staff attorney admitted in those states.  Working with the Partnership is a great way to keep  sharp, hone your skills, meet some great new people    and do some good for organizations that interest you.  Take advantage.
