Volunteer Attorneys Strengthening the Nonprofit
Sector
The Pro Bono
Partnership is the leading provider
of free business legal services, educational workshops and other legal
resources to nonprofit organizations located in Connecticut; New
Jersey and Westchester, Orange, Putnam and Rockland Counties, New York.
We assist organizations in surrounding areas on a case-by-case basis.
The Partnership:

Assists nonprofit
organizations serving poor or disadvantaged; providing important social
services; and arts and civic organizations; environmental and
conservative groups;

Provides a wide range
of opportunities for attorneys in corporations and law firms to work on
rewarding pro bono business and transactional matters; and
-
Particularly focuses on engaging volunteers from corporate legal
departments.
The Partnership's services are
coordinated and supported by a team of in-house attorneys specializing in
the law of tax exempt organizations.

Partnership staff attorneys are also available by phone to answer
inquiries from nonprofit executives and directors, as well as
other attorneys, who need brief legal advice on questions that
can be immediately addressed.
